Learn to Quilt - Level 1
Class will begin on Monday evening with selecting the fabrics for the class, discussing color and pattern (NO sewing machine for this sesssion!)
On the first Saturday you will learn about cutting and piecing;
The following Saturday you will learn how to put your top all together
Materials Required:
- Fabric requirements for pattern
- Thread for piecing
- Rotary cutter, cutting mat
- Suggested ruler(s), 6x 24” and 12.5” square
- Optional – pins and/or wonder clips
- Sewing machine with ¼” foot

| Instructor Bio: | Darla Clinton is a local quilter from Saskatoon. She has been sewing from a young age and quilting the past 7 years. She loves spending her free time making modern quilts. Darla is past Co-Chair of the Saskatoon Modern Quilt Guild and former owner of an online fabric shop. She loves today?s great fabric and patterns and sharing the fun of quilting and putting together great fabrics for the next great project. |
