Heirloom Mixture - 1944. Canada No. 1 Lawn Grass Mixture.
A quick-growing mixture of premium quality turf-type grasses selected for Western Canadian growing conditions. This is our best mixture & is suited for lawns that can be maintained by watering, fertilizing & mowing on a regular basis throughout the growing season. With proper care this mix will produce a lush yet durable turf in a reasonable period of time. Once established it can be subjected to normal use; while it is somewhat shade tolerant it performs best in full sun with adequate maintenance. This mix consists of quality Kentucky Blue grasses (4 varieties) & two types of Fine Fescue that produce a consistent-looking turf & will enhance the appearance of your yard for many years!

Contains: 80% Kentucky Blue Grass (4 top performing varieties); 2 types of Fine Fescue; 10% Creeping Red; 10% Chewings Fescue

Seeding rate:
For average size lawns, use 5 lbs per 1000 sq. ft.
For larger areas, use 100 - 125 lbs per acre.
